Our client, an industry-leading manufacturing entity, is seeking to add a Human Resources Manager to their growing team. As a key member of the plant leadership team, this individual will identify, develop, and lead the execution of human resource initiatives in support and alignment of company strategic business initiatives.
Assess organizational requirements and implement HR processes, programs and practices necessary to drive business objectives
Develop and refine organization-wide and site-specific Human Resources policies and practices as needed and/or directed to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
Provide coaching and counsel to local leadership teams on a broad array of HR and employee relations issues
Work with department managers to ensure and maintain appropriate staffing levels - source, screen, and interview candidates, create offer letters, and conduct new hire orientation meetings
Initiate and implement safety procedures throughout the organization, working closely with management to ensure that guidelines are being followed and that proper training is in place
Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related curriculum coupled with 5+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment
In-depth knowledge of federal, state and local regulations and compliance is essential
Excellent communications skills with the ability to be a partner to HR team members and employees across the organization
SPHR or PHR certification
