RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform duties related to the month-end closing process
- Ensure reporting is conducted in accordance with GAAP
- Coordinate with and prepare year-end reporting for external auditors
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, post elimination entries and prepare various schedules/reports
- Perform GL account analysis and communicate material variances to management
- Research and resolve accounting issues
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting
PREFERRED:
- CPA or progress toward the CPA
